About Odrek

Odrek Rwabwogo was born on September 17, 1969, as the fifth child in a family of seven children. He was born and raised in Naama, Kinoni Sub County, Nyabushozi Constituency, Kiruhura district.
A graduate of Makerere University and the UK’s University of Wales, Odrek is an expert in leadership communications and runs frequent training seminars where executives share best practices on how to manage and sustain a business. Odrek is Special Advisor to President Yoweri Museveni and the chairperson of The Presidential Advisory Committee on Exports and Industrial Development (PACEID).
Overall, he is an entrepreneur, author, adviser, teacher and most of all – farmer!
He was born on a farm, raised on a farm, planted beans and maize, tended cattle, and went through some of the driest seasons in terms of production. Lost animals, lost crops to drought, and suffered tick infestations, used different forms of acaricide that didn't work.
When he finished university, he decided that when he started his own family, he would take them back to the farm to make an impact from the grassroots level from where things started. He has especially strong experience in dairy and value addition and in a range of crops.
So, the things that he shares with you, he has experienced on a personal level, on a family level, and so the lived experience that he brings is to find a way to increase productivity, to get information and knowledge on what should be done to transform our farms and increase our incomes.
